Privacy Policy
Praly (“we”, “us”) is a personal astrology companion app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Praly mobile apps and related API services.
Information we collect
- Birth details you provide — name or nickname, birth date, optional birth time, and birth city (including coordinates and time zone when you select a city).
- Conversation content — questions you ask and generated replies, so your chat history can be shown again on this device or after account recovery.
- Account identifiers — if you choose to connect Google or Apple, we store a stable provider subject identifier (not your password). Email may be available from the provider but is not required for Praly to work.
- Subscription status — membership state verified through our billing provider (RevenueCat) and the app stores. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Device signals needed to operate the product — guest session credential, push notification token (if you allow notifications), device time zone for daily notes, and basic app/platform metadata.
- Technical logs — limited operational logs (errors, rate limits, AI usage counts). We aim not to put raw birth charts or chat text into routine logs.
- Support and reports — messages you send to support with account, app, device and network diagnostics included automatically, and replies you report with your reason. Support staff may review these submissions.
How we use information
- Calculate chart context and generate AI interpretations you request.
- Enforce free-response limits and membership access.
- Send optional daily notes if you enable notifications.
- Support account linking, recovery, sign-out, and deletion.
- Secure the service (fraud, abuse, and reliability).
AI processing
To provide readings and optional daily notes, we share your questions, relevant conversation, names, age, relationship information and calculated chart data with DeepSeek and OpenAI. Information you include in messages may also be shared. Praly replies are interpretive reflections, not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and not guaranteed predictions.
City search
Birth-city lookup is powered by LocationIQ. Search queries you type for city selection are sent to LocationIQ to return place results. Attribution: Search by LocationIQ.com.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with processors needed to run Praly (hosting, AI providers, LocationIQ, RevenueCat, Apple, Google) under contractual limits, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We retain data as needed to provide the service, respond to support requests, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Signing out does not delete your data. You can delete your Praly account in the app or request deletion at support@praly.app. Deletion removes your profile, chats, chart cache, push tokens, and identity links from our primary database, together with associated consent and reports. Backup copies and records held by service providers may remain subject to their retention rules and legal obligations. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription.
Children
Praly is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the app if you are under that age.
Your choices
- Edit or clear birth details and conversations in the app.
- Decline notifications in system settings.
- Decline AI processing before your first reading. To stop further processing, delete your account or contact support to withdraw your permission. This does not recall data already sent.
- Sign out or delete your account from Profile → Account.
- Contact support@praly.app to request access, correction or deletion of your data.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will revise the effective date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice in the app when practical.
